Kal, Junior Artist
Kal (they/them) is a gender nonconforming queer artist with a background in painting and animation. They finished their apprenticeship and started tattooing in August of 2020 and have been learning and growing their own style since. Kal likes to draw inspiration from vintage medical illustrations as well as pop culture and sometimes adds little "easter eggs" to their designs as a nod to the things they enjoyed as a child. A lot of Kal’s subject matter includes abstract lines, florals, mushrooms, insects, eyes, suns and moons, and their own take on traditional grim hearts.
